CHAKRA, Ayo van Elmar‘s ss 2013 collection is a spiritual testament to those who died in the battle for freedom of thought, speech and religion in the northern areas of Nigeria. Ayo describes herself as an Austro-Nigerian cosmopolitan blending European and African culture. As part of her campaign, Ayo will dedicate ten percent of the proceeds from CHAKRA sales to families affected by the ongoing violence in the region.
